Mr. Trent Difler was Right.

Let Me Remind you of the other terrible QB, now ESPN analyst Trent Difler's, draft take on Christian Ponder after the Vikings drafted him.

"[Ponder's] drop, his arm speed, everything about him ... it's one tempo," Dilfer said. "He has to play at the 7-on-7 tempo. The drop has to be rhythmical. The receivers have to be open. The ball goes one speed. The pocket has to be nice. Any time he's asked to quicken that up or there's people around him, his accuracy is awful. ...

"The great quarterbacks are as accurate going to [options] two, three and four as they are when you go to one. ... Christian Ponder, as soon as you get to two or three, the ball is dirting. It's high. It's all over the place. OK?. He plays with a lot of anxiety. Do you want your quarterback in the NFL to play with a lot of anxiety?

Holy crap, was this guy pin point accurate.

If another terrible QB says your terrible, than you're probably terrible.

For Ponder to succeed, everything within a play has to be perfect. The O-Line has to pick up 9 people, the Option-1 receiver has to be dramatically open, and the receiver has to be close to the line of scrimmage. As soon as one of those things go wrong, Ponder's perfectionist ways, take a horrible turn left field and his reactions leave us believing we could've done better ourselves on those particular plays. Ponder is an average QB, who will only take a team as far as the team takes him. And I really, really don't understand how folks can expect the Defense to be on the field for nearly 40 minutes, and still have an effective game. 15 second 3 and outs on offense don't help the cause at all, neither does careless turnovers. I don't usually say this, but Trent Difler is right. The only way the Vikings will contend this season is if the offensive line is flawless, Jerome Felton comes back and blocks like he did last year, and our wideouts continue to play like yesterday, making some difficult catches. Since he's been here Ponder hasn't made one single player look good, everyone else makes him look good. And that's not what we should settle for in a Quarterback.

Whelp, everyone knows who I'm rooting for. A guy who will Change our QB position for years to come.
