Grime's cup o' sunshine

Well here we are another loss for out Vikes, and another cup of sunshine where we can talk about things that don't suck. Well last time I put this up I actually was noting in the game where solid things happened. This time, sadly, I didn't think I had to as hell I thought we'd win. Thought so much that I am no longer in my survivor league. But with our bend to possitivity, I'll say this gives me an extra amount of time at work to do.. um well work I guess....

Ok, so Ponder tossed the rock for over 200 yards again and had some very nice deep balls. Once again showing that he does have the arm to make solid deep throws. As this was one of our biggest dings against him last time I feel its still able to be labeled a positive. Heck the man ran in two TD's to top of this crap sundae so that in itself is pretty dang awesome both coming right up the middle. One might have been designed while the other looked like was completely on him. Congrats Ponder you had almost as many yards as AD! (ok positive happy sparkle pony thoughts)

AD wasn't injured! Pretty much all I got on our running game.. Sigh

Special teams Patterson still looks like the man rolling out on a return that I thought he got more out of than any kick returner not named Hester (may a thousand fleas infest his armpits) Other than that not much positive to say except Blair is pretty much automatic at home.

Defensively we had some solid plays, Henderson working interceptions and sacks in the same game! Allen and Robison back there making Hoyer sweat? (in the second half) Cook got some rest time so that's always nice for the guy, and from out of no where Sherels comes in and actually looked solid (please don't play him anymore I want this image to stay in my mind). Oh and Floyd got in the mix bipping the QB on his arm and setting up a solid turn over for us. Hell Greenway got an int! (how did we lose this game again?) Oh and for at least one half our defense looked like the new what they were doing! Blitzing was working very well and one wonders why it didn't happen a bit more.

Lastly, Frazier held his temper as i would have shoved a size 13 shoe so far up that refs blow hole I could tie my laces with his teeth. 15 yards?

Over all it was a tough loss against a team that was in turmoil and was very beatable, but there are many many positive things to take away from this game. We're missing a few pieces but when we get them I think we'll be right back looking to some play off action.

Please try and keep this a positive thread. I know you can write whatever you want on a blog and if you want to write something negative go ahead. Just don't be surprised when I write something negative back to ya. :D
