The reason for this fan post is to see what everyone's thinking as far as personnel moves being made to right the ship and get us where a lot of us feel the Vikes are so close to being(a contender), even if our on the field performance makes it seem like we're a lot farther away.
I know a lot of people are writing about similar things as to where we go from here and what options make sense and don't in regards to acting now or holding tight until the end of the season. I don't watch much college football outside of the B1G and will be the first to admit I haven't done any research on any potential prospects for next year because I really don't know where we start. Are there potential free agents that make sense to pursue instead of trying to build through the draft? It's anyone's guess. I think a lot of people share the same thought that we don't have anything better than what's already on the field.. see Ponder vs. Cassel.
There's a lot of different avenues this team can take to get better and I know a lot of fans have their own ideas. Some are a simple change and others are a complete overhaul. Are we like the Colts where a new player gives us better Luck- pun intended, or the 49ers where a new coaching staff changes our fortune? I don't know the correct answer, but I've been 15-1 with this team and I've been 3-13 with this team and whatever happens my support will continue.
