Wow, Freeman signing a short term deal changes the direction of the team. Frazier says the starting position is still Ponder's and I believe the man. We don't know just how bad the injury is but the results of this poll with almost 600 voters shows that support for Ponder is waning. Ponder didn't have to be all pro, just competent and he was close at times. I'm not his biggest supporter, I'm about winning. Our offense struggled at times and Ponder just holds onto the ball to long, takes to long to make his reads and has a problem with his accuracy.
I'm not sure if this is as-bad-as it seems for plenty of QB's are struggling in the league, Young Manning, Wilson, Kaepernick, Cam, Romo, and the list goes on. I think the best thing to do is to sit Ponder down and let the game come to him. Cassel is the starter, for now. Can he keep his play at a high level or will he remember that he is Cassel?
Freeman brings plenty of baggage along with him. He has failed to lead his team, has big time foot work problems and is in dire need of serious coaching. We have him signed on a lease agreement which probably isn't long enough to work through his issues to be frank.
The move makes a mess of things as it was looking like 4 wins might be it and the QB in the draft was the next big thing. Well, that plan just changed. I like the move and would park Ponder and play Cassel for two more games then see where things are at.
Freeman and Ponder go back to QB 101 school and get there asses coached off. They need to work like everyday is their last as it could be. Quarterbacking at a high level is a rare skill and we need to have one of these three men step up to that level of play.
What player was texting Freeman? I was able to pick this up from the Frazier Speak article on the Freeman signing.
when that shit tsunami hits, we want to be able to throw a quarterback life jacket to the seven fans we will have left in the state of Minnesota. Hopefully, he'll keep us afloat long enough to get my house packed up and out of the state before people realize what the hell just happened. It's a long shot, but that's plan A. I don't have a plan B.

Reporter asks Adrian Peterson who he feels should be the starting QB next game Peterson says "Who do you think?"
Adrian Peterson said Matt Cassel was more vocal in the huddle. "You could see guys buying into it." #Vikings
My vote is already cast for Ponder, many of you have already voted and now we have added Freeman to the list.
