Erin Henderson Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI. Again.

If the allegations are true, it's likely that we have seen the last of Erin Henderson in a Vikings uniform. - Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

The Vikings linebacker has been arrested for the same crime twice in less than two months.

If linebacker Erin Henderson didn't play his way off the Minnesota Vikings roster this season with his inconsistent play, it certainly appears that he's drinking his way off of it.

Allegedly, of course.

Here's the tweet that Tom Pelissero sent out on Thursday morning:

You may recall that Henderson was arrested for the same thing in November. Henderson was pulled over, blew a 0.11 on the breathalyzer test, and had his driver's license revoked from the incident. Henderson was in the process of suing Hennepin County over the first arrest, but this definitely won't help his case.

Put aside the fact that this arrest will very likely end Henderson's career with the Vikings. If either of these allegations are true, it's clear that Henderson has a serious problem with drinking and driving. At this point it's beyond whether or not he can help the Vikings win on the field; it's becoming fairly clear that he needs help off of it.

Again, this is all innocent until proven guilty, and everyone deserves their day in court before the public automatically assumes that a person has done what the police have accused them of doing. But this is definitely starting to look like a troubling pattern for someone that may have just played and drank himself off an NFL roster.
