Norse Code Podcast Episode #025: Pro Bowl, Extra Points, End of Season Awards and Norv Turner

This week's podcast comes a little late, but attempts to cover the Pro Bowl, the proposed Extra Point rule, end of season awards and the new offensive coordinator, Norv Turner.

Another week, another podcast!

Not a lot of show notes today, but here they are:

  • Here's the NFL's official Pro Bowl Roster.
  • My Pro Bowl roster would rather have "interior defensive linemen" and "edge rushers" instead of the weirdness you get from 3-4 DEs playing as 4-3 DEs and 3-4 OLBs playing as 4-3 OLBs. That in mind, this is it:

  • We talked a little bit about other players kicking extra points. That in mind, we have two videos:

  • Naturally, I brought up the Norv Turner hire, and of course the big explanation is here.
  • Dusty mentioned Scott Turner, who was seen interviewing quarterbacks at the Senior Bowl
  • I railed about our desire to ask our coaches to design the scheme around talent. I mentioned an article I wrote, which is here.
  • We felt terrible about Cleveland, but they rebounded from interviewing Greg Schiano to hiring Mike Pettine, who is awesome.

As always, find us on iTunes and Stitcher by searching for us in those applications, or subscribe to our RSS feed. If BlogTalkRadio is not your thing, that's too bad because we've moved completely to BTR.
