A solution to the Pederson situation and still come out on top and add 2 players

In a perfect world AP is back in Minnesota opening day and everything is fine, but with last weeks interview and AP possibly wanting a fresh start in a new city I came up with a idea.

Indianapolis has been looking for a running game for the better part of the last 2 1/2 years, and with the whole Trent Richardson trade looking more and more of a waste I thought Indy would be in the market for a top tier RB to pair with Andrew Luck. Indy is in win now mode with a top notch QB a solid WR core with a seasoned Vet and a solid D. AP could be the missing link to Indys puzzle for a ring, they have Bradshaw as a 3rd down back and AP could handle the bulk of the carries.

Now to the trade, how could you pull this off? I'm still in favor of Richardson and haven't wrote him completely off yet. I don't know if its the offense or just the trade from Cleveland to begin with. His rookie year he was solid with 12 TD's and 950 yds., and I think he could produce these kind of #'s in Minnesota. so to the trade

Indianapolis receives Pederson and a late round pick as a sweetner

Minnesota receives Trent Richardson and Indianapolis 3rd round pick

This trade benefits both teams, The Vikings get to move on from Pederson and the money owed and Invest in Richardson who only has 2 years left on his rookie deal with the 5th year option if the Vikings wish to pick it up. He could rejuvenate his career in Minnesota and have a soild 2 back rotation with him and McKinnon. Indy benefits from getting a solid running game to compliment Luck and could develop into the most prolific offense since the St Louis greatest show on turf. Pederson gets his shot at a ring and the Vikings wont have to face him being out of the division and conference.

My 2nd trade would involve Sending that 3rd round pick to Jacksonville in turn for Justin Blackmon who I think the Jags will part ways with his offseason. They have a solid WR core with Robinson, Shorts and Lee. Blackmon could be a great pickup and add another weapon to a offense in need of playmakers. No one questions what Blackmon can do on the field its the off the field issues that's the problem. If you could add these two players and save the money that would've went to AP you could have the flexibility to target one of the top OL FA's or in the draft go OL heavy with the 1st two picks. I like drafting Scheriff out of Iowa as a G and Cameron Erving as a T if Kahlil doesn't show any improvement going forward the rest of the season. Lets hear your thoughts and opinions on this idea
