A different kind of losing

I wasn't sure where else to turn with these feelings. Yesterday's lose was that of absolute heartbreak. It left me in a haze of sadness and frustration. Not like in years past when we were just a bad team with uninspired coaching and underwhelming talent. This year feels different, and it has left me feeling genuinely sorry for Teddy. What that young man has been able to accomplish with the general tumult that has been the 2014 campaign, I can't believe he won't even get a look for ROTY. Everybody on this roster deserves more than 6 wins.

Maybe we aren't better than Detroit. We probably aren't better than Green Bay. But my god have we played every single game into the fourth quarter and beyond this year. I don't need to recount them one by one, but I almost can't stand to see it happen again vs Chicago. I just want this season to be over with before I can't stand to watch Football anymore. The TD that was taken off the board. The defensive players' angst bubbling over. The ratty PI calls. The absolute lack of accountability for poor officiating in ALL games this year. It was the penultimate Vikings game.

But I'm falling in love with Teddy and Barr and Harry and Xavier and Chuck and Jet; and damnit if I don't want the best for all of them. This entire roster should be nothing short of proud, but I'm sure they're only frustrated, and I'm just scared they can't shake this culture of losing.
