(this isn't some big fanpost with lots of stats, or detailing players or anything-heads up)
Did anyone else notice Scott Turner coaching up and constantly being in A.J. McCaron's ear? I saw him coaching A.J. up after a go at the throws for his next turn, then his next few throws were on the money. After hearing about the Vikings meeting with Connor Shaw multiple times over the weekend and Scott Turner paying extra attention to A.J. it has me wondering if the Vikings are looking at QB's they can take later in the draft that aren't necissarily playmakers but instead QB's that don't make many mistakes and can get the ball too their playmakers instead. Not the typical Turner QB's and doesn't sound like a typical Turner offense, but then again he did say he wanted a QB that doesn't make many mistakes and was accurate. A.J. isn't the most entertaining QB but he does fit that profile. Also Drew Brees doesn't sound like a typical Turner type of QB and he told the Chargers to hold off from taking the more obvious choice in Michael Vick and to wait for Brees in the 2nd instead.
Could also explain them meeting with Carr multiple times. They could be seeking out the college QB's who rarely turn the ball over, so they could model themselves after the Seahawks and try to build up a stacked defense and then have a more efficent passing game, than a passing game thats going to "wow" you... Ofcourse this is all speculation and personal thoughts being bounced out there.
