NFL Free Agency: Day 2 Open Thread

Trevor Ruszkowksi-USA TODAY Spor

Well, the first day of free agency has come and gone, and while the Minnesota Vikings did make one pretty major splash, it might have been kind of hidden in all the money that was getting thrown around fast and furious yesterday. Ted has a full recap of free agency and the Vikings' role therein right here.

The big one, of course, was the Vikings signing nose tackle Linval Joseph to a 5-year, $31.5 million contract. We've got some grades for that one from around the internet, and it seems to be getting a lot of favorable reviews thus far. Always a good sign.

The team also brought back reserve offensive lineman Joe Berger. They did, as expected, lose running back Toby Gerhart. He signed a three-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Oh, and the Vikings might also be interested in running back Darren Sproles. If they are, they're going to have a whole lot of competition.

So, this is your first thread for free agency for today. More will be created as necessary. Again, let's try to keep the number of GIFs to a minimum in this one so that people who are attempting to get information don't get bogged down.

Otherwise, the rules are the same. . .no politics, no religion, no feeding of the trolls, and keep the language relatively clean.

Guess we've established a bit of a theme with this week's musical choices. Let's continue it.

)

With that, the beer light is on and we are off for the second day of NFL Free Agency, ladies and gentlemen! Enjoy the rest of your day, and if our favorite football team makes any news, we will have it here for you.
