Okay, so some of you actually bore witness, to your extreme chagrin, of my attempt to solve our qb problem once and for all. My all qb mock was insane! Stupidly, stupidly insane.
my challenge to everyone is as follows:
1) Complete a mock draft at first-pick.com for the Minnesota Vikings. This site gives us grades and comparable scores, so we can see who is awesome and who is not!
2) Draft only quarterbacks.
3) at the end of your mock you are allowed ONLY seven qb's, Thus only seven players. No other positions are allowed.
4) in the comment section copy and paste your mock with your score.
The highest score gets our eternal admiration. Lowest will have to endure a lifetime of ridicule and shame. Much, much shame!
This is extremely difficult. Don't expect a good score, unless of course you know something I don't! Good luck everyone, you're going to need it.
Here is my draft. I am actually very happy with this.
Your score is: 2367 (Drafting Ability: F, Player Quality C+, Future Draft Picks: N/A)
Round 1 Pick 7 (T.B.): Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M (A-)
Round 3 Pick 8: Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois (A)
Round 4 Pick 25 (S.D.): Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia (C)
Round 5 Pick 25 (S.D.): David Fales, QB, San Jose State (C)
Round 6 Pick 8: Brett Smith, QB, Wyoming (C-)
Round 6 Pick 25 (S.D.): Tajh Boyd, QB, Clemson (F)
Round 7 Pick 8: Casey Pachall, QB, TCU (F)
I would advise everyone not to not to bother with Tajh until the seventh round at the earliest. In fact, don't even draft him at all. Have fun!
