I stumbled on this article today and thought it was kind of interesting.Nolan Carroll is a free agent CB that has played for the Dolphins his entire career. He is 27 years old and is 6'1" which is pretty good size. He recorded 3 INTs last year. I don't think he is going to command big money, so maybe a 3 year deal for 12M would do the trick. This type of signing would allow us to go after big name free agent signing, like Linval Joseph. I like Verner, but I don't like the idea of giving out a huge contract to a CB because it seems like they never work out anyways. Carroll could play opposite of Rhodes and allow the Vikes to wait until the middle rounds to get a CB, like Baptise or McGill from Utah. There is also a connection that could be involved, as our current DC George Edwards was recently a LB coach for the Dolphins.
