A Different Approach to Draft Day

So here is my ideas for draft day. Being a defensive minded guy like Zimmer I came up with a strategy that would fit his "D". Yes I know we need a QB but there are plenty in this draft that would fit a Norv Turner offense. So here it is;

Rd1 CB Dennard

Rd2 S Joyner

Rd3 (1)DT DaQuan Jones

Rd3 (2) ILB Borland

Rd4 best G available(I'm kinda partial to Ryan Groy)

Rd5 QB Murray or Fales

Rd6 RB Sims West Virginia

Rd7 CB Johnson NC State

or S Vereen UofM

The first 2 picks are perfect specimens of a Zimmer Secondary. Hard hitting, good tacklers who will press and keep tight coverage. With Borland we get that run stuffing ILB that we all miss. WHAT ABOUT AUDIE??? He can play outside and did up until his senior year. The QB situation has always been a sore subject in Norseland so why not take the safer approach and go Brady/Rodgers like and get the accurate arm and let him learn for a couple years? Sims is a RB that is fast, strong and can catch out of the backfield. Finally the next 2 guys are guys who to me at 7 will be can't miss picks especially Johnson from NC State. Tall, fast, and good cover guy plus he can tackle since he was a LB starting out in college. Vereen is a personal favorite..Just some thoughts on a different level.
