HA!! LeSean McCoy

I'm not sure if McCoy has his head on straight.

Here is the article from ESPN

In case you don't feel like reading it, LeSean McCoy is claiming he is the best Running Back in the NFL. While he was on ESPN's "First Take" (arguably the worst sports show with whatever show Jim Rome is on now), he stated that in the last three years, he's been All-Pro twice, first team once and how he doesn't have to leave the field in passing situations. For the All-Pro argument- Adrian Peterson was first team in the 2012 season after his magnificent 2097 yard season (and McCoy wasn't in any of the teams). Last year, Peterson was second team, and McCoy was first team, taking out McCoy's argument there. AP might have been All-Pro in 2011 had he not torn his ACL. LeSean has also yet to come close to AP in rushing yards. Last year, McCoy had a career best 1607 yards in the ground, still 490 yards away from Peterson's best which was only two seasons ago. Who cares about LeSean's receiving yards? The position is RUNNING BACK. Not receiving back.

In total here are their stats the last three years.

LeSean- 3756 rushing yards, 28 rushing TDs, 5 lost fumbles, 1227 receiving yards, 8 receiving TDs. (Missed a total of 5 games).

AP- 4333 rushing yards, 34 rushing TDs, 5 lost fumbles, 527 receiving yards, 3 receiving TDs. (Missed a total of 6 games).

Rushing wise, AP is the better running back.

Receiving wise, LeSean is better (which we kind of knew already).

So next time LeSean, take a look at some stats. Even your brother thinks AP is the better back.

"My brother always rips me all the time, trying to make me play harder. I say, 'I'm the best,' and he'll say, 'Did Adrian Peterson retire?'" - from the article
