Is anyone else thinking trading next years first? I know - no patience.

But hear me out and go ahead kill it if you do not like it. But this draft is deeper because there are 100 underclassman in it. There will not be a draft this deep for awhile.

A pick in the early second is as good as a pick in the first next year. Look at what they were saying about last years offensive lineman going in the top ten - they would have been in the 20's and 30's this year. That is a huge drop in the draft points. . . Also, last years Dion Jordan from Miami, who was in the top five, would have been 25-35 this year. That is how deep this draft is.

My scenario would be if they could get a team to bite and lets face it, dumb deals are out there, the Bills come to mind right now, would be to get a top 15 second and a top 15 third if someone is willing to do it for our 1st next year. Would love to get a R, G, LB and CB out of one second and three 3's. I think the three 3rds would be starters.

Anyway, I am not patient so maybe this is not a good idea. Thoughts - but I do see good picks at LB, G, R out there that we could target. Hell, go for it now with Teddy in the there, get a G or R with the early 2, then see if you can move up by trading the 5's back into the 2nd with our early 3. Get what you didn't from the early 2. We would come out then with a top five offensive we shore up the guard spot and get a R in the second as well. . . There are some mock drafts out there with some studs at LB and CB in the 3rd.

No patience and getting rid of a first round pick is risky - but man, this draft has guys scattered in the second and third rounds that are late first round picks in other drafts.
