Scraps to starters?

Okay I'm going to be completely honest: I'm being lazy because I am in the middle of graduate studies and finals for the summer, BUT don't worry that has not kept me away from keeping tabs on the Vikings every day and have one major question:

Does anyone know of any teams that have a surplus of good LB's on there team that may have to cut someone that is good?

I read the article discussing a "coaches" viewpoint on the team thus far after the OTA's. I was majorly disappointed to hear that Mauti, Cole, and Hodges have yet to stake a claim to the "open" LB position. I am not a major fan of Brinkley and just see him as a depth acquisition for this off season. I see Dean as being a special teams guy. I know we have our 7th rounder LB Watts, and two others Zimmer, and DiCicco but I don't have a lot of faith in them.

What are the chances some team with good linebackers like San Francisco or Buffalo (not as much now that Alonso is injured) needs to cut a quality player that could start alongside Greenway and Barr?

Thanks for the help guys... can't get the Vikings off my mind!
