Dont worry about Teddy not getting the nod as #1

It's painfully obvious what's going on at the starting QB spot, and it's brilliant. If you look at the first chunk of games we have to play they are about as brutal as it gets for any team this year. We will face some very good new-look defenses and some very stout QB talent. The game plan here is simple, toss MC out there to see what he and the rest of them can do against the toughest part of our schedule. Best case, they fight on through and we come out with a few wins and MC doesn't get blown up on a bad sack. Worst case for the team, the O line lets MC get turned to pulp and they are forced to play Teddy early in the season. I'd love to see Teddy get the starting job, but I don't want him hurt or shell shocked in his first few games. By the time we get through those first few games the time will be perfect for a change at QB, we will be over the hump and Teddy will have had a bit more time to adjust to the NFL. Result: Teddy goes on a QB rampage and we slide in to the playoffs....
