Good evening and lemme be the 1st to say GOD IS IT GOOD TO HAVE FOOTBALL BACK. I'm sure we've all read the article by now about Peterson wanting out of Minnesota and some ask this cannot and shouldn't be even a consideration. I love watching Peterson, he's been one of the most exciting players in the league for almost a decade now and has and still is the face of the franchise. The talk of him wanting to play for Dallas just doesn't seem to go away and you wonder if there is or has been any talk by Spielman to actually trade the all-pro RB
Hershel Walker 2.0 isn't happening i'll be the 1st to ay that now, the NFL has changed so much and GM's are reluctant to let go of valuable draft picks for established players. Jones has said he likes the idea of putting Peterson in a Dallas uniform and I could see this as a very realistic possibility. 1st off the RB depth in this years draft is deep
Todd Gurley, Georgia
Melvin Gordon, Wisconsin
TJ Yeldon, Alabama
Jermey Langford, Mich St
Mike Davis, South Carolina
Duke Johnson, Miami
Ameer Abdullah, Nebraska
Karlos Williams, Florida St
Micheal Dywer, Louisville
Malcolm Brown, Texas
I think with Mckinnon you go with Gordon, Yeldon or Gurley any of those 3 would be a excellent back and bring in Jerrick as a scat back. If you did trade Peterson what could you get in a trade? what would be good compensation? I think a 1st and 3rd or 4th rounder is fair and with the extra 1st pick you take either a CB, S, or WR. Lets hear your thoughts and suggestions, welcome back to football DN its good to be back
