There are a lot of year-end awards that are going to be handed out in the National Football League over the next couple of weeks, and the folks from NFL.com are holding a vote for their Performance Play of the Year. There are two plays that were nominated involving the Minnesota Vikings. . .one that they were on the positive end of and one that they were on the negative end of.
The positive Vikings play is the big 87-yard pass from Teddy Bridgewater to Jarius Wright that won the Week 14 game against the New York Jets in overtime.
I wish I could find a better video of it than that, but we work with what we've got. You can see the full, actual video at the Vikings' team website.
The play that the Vikings were the victims of was a touchdown catch by Mike Wallace in the Week 16 game between the Vikings and the Miami Dolphins. We're not going to post that highlight here.
But if you think the Bridgewater-to-Wright connection deserves some recognition as 2014's NFL Performance Play of the Year, head on over to NFL.com and cast your vote. They'll ask you to vote for your top 5, so surely you can find room for this play in there somewhere.
