With the 11th pick in the 2015 NFL draft the Minnesota Vikings select...

Running Back Todd Gurley of Georgia.

Just think about it, picking Gurley gives the Vikings more leverage in trading Peterson because right now teams are waiting to see which RB they can draft. So in essence Todd Gurley being available in the draft diminishes Peterson's trade value. If Vikings really can't move Peterson then they can trade Gurley for a late first and an extra pick, which is something the Vikings would want to do anyway. If the Vikings desperately want Peterson out of Minnesota (which they might but for obvious reasons will not reveal) then they would have Peterson's replacement and could trade Peterson as the draft progresses with Peterson being more valuable because there are fewer RB available in the draft.

This is just a thought that I came up with a few minutes ago. But I think it's crazy enough that a move like this would be appealing to Rick Speilmen.

I would like them to draft a CB if they stay at 11.
