The Vikings had such a good run on Thursday, that last night was literally a breeze. But today, oh today, the chance to fill a couple more holes. I am hoping at least one of the following guys: Kevin Reddick or Duke Williams. Both would be instant contributors to the team and continue to shore up the defense.
What a night!! Sure, the Vikings may have drafted the second coming of Troy Williamson, but they did it with style. They also nailed their first two picks in the first round, snapping up a falling stud (Shariff Floyd) and a potential lock-down corner (Xavier Rhodes). All in all, a solid night for the Vikes. Check out more there.
Nike's web site has a writeup on the new Vikings uniforms, posted today.
Hi, folks! I just finished doing a quick segment on the Vikings for the Afternoon Players club on KGYM Radio in Iowa. The segment will air at 5:35. Be sure to listen in to hear what my voice sounds like.
There a lot of mock drafts out there for the Purple this year. Most of them have the Vikings taking a combination of LB/WR/DT with their two first round picks. This link just reviews a few of the potential guys (from Pipe Dreams to Resigned Fates) that we could end up with. Who do you like????
OK, my pick for y'all is up now. Hope most approve. Special thanks To D_Train, and I hope I didn't borrow his wording too much.
All the designs at the linked page are user submitted to the Uni-Watch blog. Most of them aren't so good, but a few are interesting.
Joe Webb now has until the end of camp to master enough fundamentals to earn a WR spot. Props to him if he can pull it off.
