New Blogs
Making Final Approach. . .Gear is Down. . .

Haven't had one of these for a while. I'd like to give a warm welcome to Mark Risola and his new blog, NY Landing Strip, a blog dedicated to the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!
Mark's addition gives us 4 AFC East blogs, and therefore 4 divisions that have full representation (the AFC South, NFC East, and the beloved NFC North being the others). In fact SBNation is only 5 teams away from having the entire NFL covered. We're missing the Panthers, Saints, and Cardinals in the NFC, along with the Chargers and Ravens in the AFC.
But, for now, head on over the Mark's new site and check it out. . .it's the one landing strip you'll find that doesn't involve wax or a razor of some sort!

Let's Get Physical! Physical!
You'll be singing that to yourself all day now, you just watch.
SBNation has expanded once again, this time into the world of physical fitness. We here at DN would like to welcome Lou Schuler and his new site, Male Pattern Fitness, to the Nation.
As someone who has to stop freebasing Mountain Dew and get up off the couch occasionally (well, more often than I do, anyway), I will be taking a great interest in this site. Head on over and take a look!
And, don't forget, come back to DN this afternoon after the NFL schedule is announced to see who the Vikings' potential victims will be for the 2007 season. We're about 2 1/2 hours away from the announcement.

Tatanka Means Buffalo

As the only other member of the NFL's "Hey, we're 0-4 in the Super Bowl, too" club, I'd like to welcome Brian and his new Buffalo Bills blog, Buffalo Rumblings. I've had a soft spot for the Bills for a while (well, except for the last two times they've played the Vikings, anyway), because they seem to be every bit as snake-bitten as we are. I'm convinced that if the Bills and Vikings were to meet in the Super Bowl, the game would go to a scoreless tie and, after five overtimes or so, the game would just be called and nobody would be declared the winner.
Don't ask me why I think these things. I just do.
Having said that, go over and give Brian a warm welcome to SBNation!

The NFC North is Complete!

Allow me to be the first to introduce SBNation's newest NFL blog, and the blog that (finally) gives the NFC North complete representation, Acme Packing Company. Yes, the recruitment types at SBNation are so good, they managed to find a Packer fan that can read, write, AND has internet access!
(In the words of Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog. . ."I keed, I keed.")
So now, each of the NFC North's teams has a blog on SBNation to represent it. In addition to the greatest Vikings' blog in the known universe, you've got the Bears at Windy City Gridiron, Pride of Detroit for the Lions, and now the Acme Packing Company from Green Bay.
Check all of them early and often for all the news on the greatest damn division in the NFL!

Let's Add On Another!

Make that two divisions that have all four of their teams represented, as we here at DN would like to welcome Big Blue View to the ranks of SBNation. The NFC East and the AFC South now each have all of their teams represented.
Head on over and check out the new kid on the block!

Blogs, Blogs Everywhere
There are a few new blogs here on the block at SBNation that I wanted to direct everybody to.

The first one finally gives the NFC South a second blog to go along with our Falcons site. Buc 'Em is a site dedicated to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Feel free to head on over there and let them know that Calvin Johnson really isn't THAT good, and that Tampa should feel free to pass on him.
(I know, it won't help. . .he's still not going to make it to Minnesota's spot in the draft.)

We also have our second blog dedicated to people beating the crap out of each other. Bloody Elbow will focus on the world of Mixed Martial Arts fighting here at SBNation.
Go ahead and bother our two newest webmasters for a while. . .I'm working on a little something for later on today. Or possibly tomorrow, depending on time constraints.

We Have a Winner!

After a bit of a drought without getting any new members to the SBNation football family, I'm happy to introduce the new blog for the Houston Texans, Battle Red Blog. So, what exactly did they win?
Well, THEY didn't win, per se. But the addition of BRB gives us the first division that is fully covered by SBNation, that being the AFC South. BRB joins the blogs for the Super Bowl XLI champion Indianapolis Colts, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Tennessee Titans.
So, a hearty welcome to the folks at Big Red Blog, and congratulations to the AFC South in general for having complete coverage here on SBNation.

Making "Room" for a Unique New Blog

Since many NFL players, including the members of our beloved Purple, will be hanging out at golf courses near you in the not-so-distant future, it's only appropriate that we take this time to welcome Waggle Room to SBNation. Waggle Room is SBNation's blog dedicated to the world of golf. Head on over and check it out!
(Just remember. . .waggle once, that's fine. . .waggle twice, that's okay. . .waggle three times, you're playing with it. Or something.)
And hey, before you go, give yourself a cool golf nickname, if you'd like.
More actual Viking-related stuff later on today. . .for now, this is Sandy Potbunker. . .er, Gonzo, signing off.
