Michael Silver reports that Moss had a rather embarrassing encounter this past Friday with a local restaurant that was catering the Vikings meal that day. He allegedly said some very tasteless things. While I don't consider this to be worthy of what has happened the last 24 hours, it has helped me process this mess a little bit.
That said, they do this meal every Friday and this is apparently the first time there has been an issue, so I have to believe that his icy relationship with Childress contributed to this encounter in some way as well. Of course, we also don't know what his general state of mind was that day. Everyone has days where they have a short fuse.
