Kevin Williams may get his suspension from the Starcaps case reduced after all.
It's official. . .Pat and Kevin Williams have been well and truly screwed by the National Football League.
Could the StarCaps case be a point of contention between the NFL players and owners as they discuss their labor deal?
"We are pleased that the Minnesota Court of Appeals, like all other federal and state courts to hear the matter, has unanimously upheld the structure and operation of the NFL's collectively bargained Policy on Anabolic Steroids and Related Substances. Today's opinion confirms that the testing program did not violate Minnesota state law and vindicates the policy and procedures of the program. We are in the process of reviewing the decision and determining our next steps."
Kevin and Pat Williams of the Minnesota Vikings got caught "Milli Vanilli'ing" their way through the NFL. Will they ever serve their suspension, or will they "Keep On Running" from the rules?
"To be honest with you, I really didn't follow it," said Smith, who tested positive for a banned diuretic found in the over-the-counter weight-loss supplement StarCaps before the 2008 season. "All I expect to do is go work out and do what I've been doing every offseason, and whatever happens happens. You try not to let little things drag you down. I just try to stay focused and just try to help out my team."
