Just a quick take on the finals of the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup.
FIFA apparently got the officiating crew from the 2009 NFC Championship Game together to referee today's Women's World Cup semifinal between the United States and Brazil. Despite the incompetence of the officials, the U.S. (while shorthanded) came back to tie the game on this goal, and went on to win via penalty kicks. Yeah, it's not football, but it IS awesome. . .and it's proof that a little Gus Johnson can make a whole lot of things better. (The audio clip is actually from an NCAA Basketball game from a few years ago.) Enjoy!
