Coming and Going

WR Jason Carter got called up to the Vikings' active roster just before the Monday Night debacle against New England.

Yesterday, he was waived by Minnesota.  Taking his spot on the roster is a familiar face for Vikings fans.

LB Rod Davis, who played his first two seasons in Minnesota, primarily on special teams, has been brought back by Minnesota.  Davis, the third-year LB out of Southern Mississippi was one of Minnesota's better special teamers over the past two seasons, and was released this pre-season.  He caught on with Carolina, but only played in one game for the Panthers before being released.

Carter did clear waivers, and was re-signed to the practice squad.

Not an earth-shattering move, but a move none the less.
