Vikings/Bears Injury Situation

While the Vikings are relatively fresh coming off of a bye week, the Bears are pretty banged up.  It didn't seem to affect the Bears a great deal while they were beating the Packers on Sunday, but you never know how much worse things might have gotten since then.

On the Minnesota front, QB Tarvaris Jackson (groin), LB Ben Leber (ribs), and S Dwight Smith (hamstring) were limited in practice today.  Those three were limited, and everyone else from the Vikings fully participated in practice.

The Bears, on the other hand. . .that's a different story.  Almost all of their key injuries are on the defensive side of the football.  The Bears players that did not participate in practice were WR Bernard Berrian (toe), DT Tommie Harris (knee), T John Tait (ankle), CB Charles Tillman (ankle), DT Darwin Walker (knee), and CB Nathan Vasher (groin).  On top of that, G Ruben Brown was limited.

The official injury report doesn't come out until Friday, but it's clear which team is healthier.  It remains to be seen, however, if it will transfer to the field.
