I just want to give a big "Thank You" to everyone that visits this site on a regular basis, and to everyone that's just stopped by on occasion. Thanks to all of you, October has been the biggest month in the history of The Daily Norseman in terms of visits. . .which is pretty amazing, considering that the Vikings only played 3 games in the month of October.
As of now, the counter stands at 12,802 visits for the month, so there's still an outside shot at 13,000. Next month, we'll go past the 100,000 mark, something that I never thought would be possible when this site launched in July of '06. This site wouldn't even exist and wouldn't be what it is right now without each and every one of you out there. The popularity of this site goes to show that even when the team isn't particularly good, Vikings fans are still the greatest damn fans in football.
To celebrate this. . .and in honor of Halloween. . .we're going to have a bit of fun here. But it's going to have to be contained in a new post, so be sure to keep checking back. It should be up here shortly.
