Sorry for the lack of updatery yesterday. . .long week at the "real job."  I've got a metric assload of homework for my college courses to do this weekend, too, but there will be some stuff up here during that time.  Need to do something while writing papers to keep my head from exploding, so why not. . .more writing?

Anyway, looking over the injury report. . .as far as our side goes, I keep looking under the "Out" section of the Vikings' injury report and hope to heck that somebody's pulling my leg, but they're not.  No Adrian Peterson this weekend, and it looks like no Sidney Rice again, either, unless something changes drastically between now and Sunday.  We should be getting Antoine Winfield back, however, which is nice.

Looking at the Raiders' side, I'm not sure who Winfield would be matched up against, because nobody's sure whether Jerry Porter, Oakland's best receiver, will be out there this week or not.  (Jerry Porter IS Oakland's best receiver, right?)  And if there was any question about who was going to start for the Raiders behind center, Josh McCown's status on the injury report should pretty much cement it.

That's all for now, folks. . .back with better content tomorrow, I promise.
