"Our anticipation is he will be there tomorrow," Winfield's agent Richard Katz said in a brief interview Thursday.
Katz said Winfield's absence was "definitely not contract-related."
So hopefully this crisis can be averted and we can go back to thinking about how sweet it will be to win the NFC North this year rather than how our secondary is going to cope without one of the best CBs in football.
