According to Access Vikings, sixth-round pick Rufus Alexander has signed his contract with the Vikings.
Alexander, a linebacker from the University of Oklahoma, was the Big 12's Defensive Player of the Year last year, yet managed to fall all the way to the sixth round. He's a bit undersized, perhaps (if a man that's 6'1" and about 230 pounds can be considered "undersized" by any definition), but the guy obviously produced big time for a big-time program last season.
The battle for LB roster spots in training camp should prove to be mighty interesting.
