After Further Review on the Jersey Thing

I've gone with the suggestion from NMUSpidey (in correlation with the pleadings of UncleBillyBonz along the lines of "if you get a jersey of a good, young player they'll contract hantavirus") and have decided that my road Vikings' jersey will actually be in honor of. . .

*points. . .to. . .self*

me!

Yes, I've decided to become a self-promoting whore and go with my name and my number on my next Vikings' jersey.  (Sadly, DailyNorseman.com won't go on the jersey, since the customization rules only allow 10 letters.)  So there's a picture of the prospective jersey, along with my number of choice.  Currently, #17 on the Vikings' roster is held by Maurice Mann. . .and, presumably. . .

wait for it. . .

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait forrrrrrrrrrrrr it. . .

his Rare Earth Band!

But I'm not sure if Mann is going to make the roster with the clusterfuck competition we currently have at the WR position.  So I think #17 should be a relatively safe bet.

Why #17, you might ask?  #17 was my number in high school in just about every sport I could get it in, and it's just sort of followed with me for reasons I'm not quite sure of.  And there's one man who was the reason I wanted that number in high school.

Chris Mullin, ladies and gentlemen.  Yes, much like Chris Mullin, when I was in sports in high school, I could best be classified as not real big and not real fast.  Sort of like Chris Mullin.  From there, I've grown up into a. . .not real big, not real fast adult.  The more things change. . .

So, having gotten this far, does anyone know a cheaper place than NFLShop.com to get a customized jersey?  $99.99 is a bit out of budget range at this point.

The promised indignation with my recent pre-season magazine purchases will probably come sometime tomorrow.  Have a good rest of your Tuesday, folks!
