Vikings' Tackle Bryant McKinnie Arrested

New, comments

Well, after all, it HAD been a month or two since any of our guys did anything galactically stupid.

From the Miami Herald:

According to a Miami police report, McKinnie, 28, was involved in a large street brawl outside Club Space, 34 NE 11th St.

McKinnie was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence.

Police said they had been called to club about a fight. When they arrived, they found McKinnie being thrown out of the nightclub by a security guard.

Outside the club, McKinnie spit on the patron he was arguing with and yelled obscenities at the man.

The man told the officers he would not press charges, if McKinnie left, which he appeared to do. The officer observed McKinnie entering the nearby Gold Rush, a strip joint.

At around 6:30 a.m. the officers were again called by a parking attendant reporting a large fight in front of Club Space.

You know, my mother. . .and my grandmother. . .and pretty much every other authority figure in my life. . .always told me that nothing good happens after midnight.  And yes, 6:30 AM counts as "after midnight" if you've been out partying all night long.

Honestly, I need a countdown of some sort for this kind of thing.  As soon as I figure out how to make one, it will be up on the site.  In the meantime, feel free to discuss the latest example of the Vikings' "culture of accountability."
