The Vikings put together a couple of nice scoring drives in the second quarter, sandwiched around a really strange play. The Vikings' first TD of the quarter came on a 14-yard dart from Favre to Sidney Rice to make it 14-7, Vikings.
Late in the second quarter, the Packers' Clay Matthews stripped Adrian Peterson and took the ball back 42 yards for a touchdown. . .on a play I thought should have been whistled dead, but oh well. . .and that tied the game at 14.
Favre then led a quick drive down the field for 84 yards, culminating in a 1-yard run by Peterson to put the Vikings ahead 21-14, which is where we stand now.
Third quarter discussion is right here, folks. . .and, please, don't feed the trolls.
SKOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL VIKINGS!!!!
