In the "things we've been talking about for two or three days already because we're that awesome and that far ahead of the curve" category, we have this filing from Brad Childress' press conference this afternoon.
According to the Twitter account of just about every Vikings' beat writer in the Twin Cities area, the Vikings' coach said today that if Sidney Rice isn't active for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, the Vikings would likely shut him down for the season.
According to Steve Wyche of NFL.com, Rice is "almost certain" to play against the Packers.
Don't get me wrong. . .if Sidney's out there this weekend, I'll be happy to see him and be cheering like hell for him. I just wish we could have seen this roughly three months or so ago.
