Your Week 7 Early Games Open Thread

With the Vikings not playing until 3:15 PM Central time today, that means the early games are wide open for you to view whatever game you want. . .or, if you're like me, to turn over to the Red Zone Channel and attempt to watch all of them at the same time.

If you have DirecTV, the Vikings' game today will be on Channel 714, and the team calling the game will be Thom Brenneman and Troy Aikman. With that, I give you one positive for today: No Joe Buck. Thank you, World Series.

As far as the other games, if you're not using The 506 to see what games are in your area (if you're not in the Twin Cities or part of their primary market), then shame on you. Here's what's on the docket for today.

CBS Early Games

San Diego Chargers at New York Jets (DirecTV Channel 705)
-Announcers: Jim Nantz, Phil Simms
Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans (DirecTV Channel 706)
-Announcers: Marv Albert, Rich Gannon
Denver Broncos at Miami Dolphins (DirecTV Channel 704)
-Announcers: Kevin Harlan, Solomon Wilcots

FOX Early Games

Chicago Bears vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers from London, England (DirecTV Channel 709)
-Announcers: Kenny Albert, Darryl Johnston, Tony Siragusa
Atlanta Falcons at Detroit Lions (DirecTV Channel 707)
-Announcers: Sam Rosen, Brian Billick
Washington Redskins at Carolina Panthers (DirecTV Channel 708)
-Announcers: Chris Myers, Tim Ryan
Seattle Seahawks at Cleveland Browns (DirecTV Channel 710)
-Announcers: Ron Pitts, Jim Mora, Jr.

If you don't have DirecTV, there's a good chance that the Vikings game will be switched to FOX's only other late game alternative, the game between the Dallas Cowboys and the St. Louis Rams (DirecTV Channel 713), which is being called by Dick Stockton and John Lynch.

Oh, and CBS has a couple of late games, too.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Arizona Cardinals (DirecTV Channel 711)
-Announcers: Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf
Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs (DirecTV Channel 712)
-Announcers: Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts

Your Sunday night match-up this week will feature the Indianapolis Colts heading down south to take on the New Orleans Saints in a Super Bowl 44 rematch that really isn't because Peyton Manning is still nowhere to be found. The Monday night game for this week will pit the Baltimore Ravens against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Talk about all of the early games right here, folks. . .the Game Thread will be up, as usual, about 90 minutes before kickoff.
