Eventually, I'm just going to have to make a separate Kluwe category, but I still think this is sort of cool.
Anyway, in a couple of our open threads, folks have been mentioning the awesomeness of a new video/computer game called The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. From the little bit of it I've played thus far, it's living up to the hype, to be sure. However, it appears that the Vikings' most well-known gamer, punter Chris Kluwe, has been included in the game as well.
This picture comes from Kluwe's Twitter account.
"Loate" is the name of a character that Kluwe plays in another famous role-playing game, World of Warcraft. Lest anyone think that this is a coincidence, Shane Liesegang, one of the programmers for Bethesda Studios (the company behind Skyrim) has, indeed, confirmed that it's based on our favorite punter.
So, those of us that are playing Skyrim have something to keep an eye out for. Kluwe mentions on his Twitter account where, exactly, in the game he found it, but I won't put it here. Why? Well, so as not to spoil it for anyone. . .and to keep the nerd quotient here at least somewhat under control.
Yeah, I know, I've already failed at that second one.
