Broncos at Vikings Third Quarter Thread

A first quarter of offensive ineptitude gave way to a second quarter that saw the Vikings drive 95 yards and a TD that was capped off by one of the most ridiculous TD catches by TE Kyle Rudolph that I've seen in a long time. It was a 12 play thing of beauty that put the Vikings up 12-7.

After a Vikes punt, Jared Allen sacked Tim Tebow, forced a fumble and then recovered it. They couldn't put it in the end zone, but a 25 yard Ryan Longwell field goal made it 15-7 as we headed to the locker room.

Quarterback Christian Ponder bounced back from a shaky first quarter to lead that nice TD drive, and at the half is a respectable 18/29 for 192 yards, 1 TD, and the interception. The Vikes leading rusher is Toby Gerhart, with 39 yards on 10 carries, and Devin Aromashodu has had a break out game, catching 5 passes for 74 yards.

Denver will get the ball to start the second half, and let's do more of the same--pressure Tebow, force turnovers, and keep the ball.

SKOL!!
