You Can Own A Piece Of The Metrodome Roof

Exactly three months ago, we mentioned that pieces of the old Metrodome roof were for sale as part of a tour of the stadium. For those of us that can't easily make it to Minneapolis for that sort of thing, there is now a much easier way to get a piece of the old roof if you would like to own one.

Entrepreneur Guy Nelson spent six months making calls and things of that nature in order to acquire the Metrodome roof, and has finally done so. He is selling pieces of the roof on the internet. Prices range from as little as $9.99 for a 3" by 4" section of the roof to as much as $29.99 for two 8" x 10"s. (I feel like I'm selling photo packages. . .no word on if Mr. Nelson is planning on offering wallet size.)

On the site, Mr. Nelson states that a generous portion of the proceeds will be going to the Make A Wish Foundation, which is pretty cool. So, if you want to get your hands on a piece of the Metrodome roof, you can get one without having to make the trek all the way to Minneapolis.
