Since it was so entertaining during the dark days of the NFL lockout, Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe has decided to break out his white board again.
Yesterday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made a statement saying that players that faked injuries would be subject to fines and other punishment. This after Monday night's game between the St. Louis Rams and the New York Giants, where not one, but two Giants players appeared to simultaneously fake an injury in order to slow down the Rams' offense.
Well, Kluwe wanted to make a statement in support. . .I think. . .of his good friend, "Rog."
Now, it goes without saying that we've all seen punters and kickers take a dive out there on the field during NFL action. I'm not sure if Kluwe has ever done it, but it's still funny that he pointed this out.
On another note, the NFL has now officially taken more action against diving in three or four days than FIFA has for the entirety of its existence, so kudos to Roger Goodell for that.
