Minnesota Vikings Set Incredibly Dubious NFL Record

So, has today's collapse by the Vikings not totally ruined your day? Have you not progressed to the point where you've dyed your hair black and started going through your CD/MP3 collection to find your stash of hits by Depeche Mode and The Cure?

Well, let me try to change that for you.

Prior to this season, no team in NFL history had blown double-digit halftime leads in their first three games of a National Football League season.

They have now.

Yes, the 2011 Minnesota Vikings are the first team in the history of the National Football League. . .in the 91-year history of the league. . .to blow double-digit halftime leads in the first three games of the season to pick up three consecutive losses.

It doesn't help me at all to understand why these things are happening, but it's something that I'm sure you'll hear about for the next few days, so I thought I'd put it out there.
