Vote For Kyle Rudolph For 2011 NFL Play Of The Year

"filbert33" pointed this out in the FanPosts yesterday, but I thought I'd highlight it here.

NFL.com has their list of what they've deemed to be the 20 greatest plays of the 2011 NFL season, and the Vikings' lone representative on the list is rookie tight end Kyle Rudolph, who makes the list because of this incredible touchdown catch against the Denver Broncos.

Absolutely ridiculous catch by Rudolph, and something that I certainly hope we see a whole lot more of in the future.

Head on over to the site linked above and vote for Rudolph's catch. I mean, it's not going to win or anything, I would wager. . .if any play other than this one wins, I'll be pretty surprised.

But we can at least push Rudolph a little bit higher up on the list, if nothing else. For full disclosure, the two plays above were the top two on my list, and I followed those up with Patrick Peterson's walk-off punt return, Jerome Simpson's front flip for a touchdown, and the Carolina Panthers running the Annexation of Puerto Rico against the Houston Texans.

The winning play will be revealed at the "NFL Honors" show in Indianapolis on Saturday.
