ESPN's Adam Schefter. . .who has apparently been pretty busy this morning. . .is reporting that Washington Redskins' star quarterback Robert Griffin III will start at quarterback this afternoon when the Redskins battle the Minnesota Vikings at FedEx Field.

Griffin III suffered a concussion last week in Washington's 24-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons at FedEx Field. He was hit during a slide attempt by Falcons' linebacker Sean Weatherspoon. There had been speculation earlier in the week as to whether or not he would be able to play this week, but Mike Shanahan and company have apparently decided that he's good to go.
One has to wonder how the concussion he suffered last week will affect Griffin III this afternoon against Minnesota. Griffin III's reckless abandon and his propensity to take off and run are big parts of his game, and it remains to be seen how those things will be affected after the events of last week. I guess we'll all find out in about five hours or so.
