Are The Minnesota Vikings Up To Something?

Bruce Kluckhohn-US PRESSWIRE

We're a little more than 24 hours away from the NFL's trading deadline, and while I don't think there's a huge likelihood of the Minnesota Vikings pulling off any sort of a trade, the Twitter has given us a reason to think a bit.

The Vikings put Chris Cook on injured reserve on Friday after the loss to Tampa Bay. That left them with an open spot on the roster. . .a spot that they have not yet filled. Now, in addition to bringing in a punter, as we mentioned last night, the Vikings have brought in some other folks as well, but something that Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said during his press conference today sort of makes me wonder.

Now. . .not having been at the press conference myself, I'm not sure of the tone that Frazier used when he made said statement or anything like that. At this point, however, I'm not really sure what there would be to give away.

Then again, maybe something big is brewing at Winter Park this Halloween. Who knows for sure?

Do you think the Vikings are trying to get something done before the trading deadline? Or is this just another case of premature speculation?
