Final Injury Reports For The Tennessee Titans And Minnesota Vikings

Thomas J. Russo-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The Tennessee Titans and the Minnesota Vikings have both released their final injury reports leading up to this weekend's contest at the Metrodome.

Let's take a look at the reports for both teams, starting with the visiting Titans.

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Jake Locker QB Shoulder Out
Patrick Bailey LB Hand Questionable
Kenny Britt WR Ankle Questionable
Colin McCarthy LB Ankle Questionable
Mike Otto T Finger Questionable
Scott Solomon DE Hamstring Questionable
Jared Cook TE Shoulder Probable
Leroy Harris OL Non-Injury --
Steve Hutchinson OL Non-injury --

Outside of Locker, who we've known about all week, the big one on this list is Kenny Britt. The oft-troubled Britt is the Titans' most talented wide receiver, but he "tweaked" an ankle in practice on Thursday. He did not play last week in Tennessee's loss to the Houston Texans.

Now, on to the list for the Minnesota Vikings.

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Mistral Raymond S Ankle Out
Andrew Sendejo S Ankle Out
Marvin Mitchell LB Calf Doubtful
Erin Henderson LB Concussion Questionable
Michael Jenkins WR Rib Questionable
Jared Allen DE Groin Probable
Charlie Johnson OL Back Probable
Christian Ponder QB Knee Probable
Marcus Sherels CB Quadriceps Probable
Antoine Winfield CB Knee Probable

The Mitchell injury actually seems to be a bit of a loss, since he played pretty well filling in for Erin Henderson in the latter's absence. According to reports, Henderson has finally passed all the tests he needs to pass and will start Sunday, so the inactive list will likely swap Henderson for Mitchell. Jenkins, Johnson, Sherels, and Winfield were all limited participants in practice on Friday. Henderson, Allen, and Ponder had full participation.

There you have the final injury reports for Sunday's game, ladies and gentlemen.
