If you're attempting to figure out exactly how you can follow the action of Sunday afternoon's contest between the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions at the Metrodome, you're in luck, because that's what this post is all about. Let's take a look at the different ways that you can track all of the action.
Kickoff Time: We have our regular kickoff time of 12 PM Central back for this last game before the bye. As I said last week, it should be this way for the rest of the year, barring the weirdness of getting one of the Vikings' games flexed (which, at this point, I don't exactly think we should be anticipating.)
Broadcast Info: It's an all-NFC affair for this one, folks, which means the game is going to be on FOX. According to The 506, the announce team for this one will be Dick Stockton and John Lynch.
Our Canadian friends can see this one CTV in Winnipeg and Northern Manitoba. Folks in Great Britain will be able to see the game if they have their NFL Game Pass. It doesn't appear as though AFN is going to be showing this one among the group of games that our men and women overseas will have access to, which is unfortunate.
If you're watching the game through the DirecTV Sunday Ticket package, tune your box to Channel 705.
Radio Info: Once again, the Vikings Radio Network will have you covered for this week's broadcast, so be sure to find the local affiliate in your area. As far as satellite radio, those of you with a Sirius satellite radio can hear the Vikings feed on Channel 138, and the Lions feed is on Channel 112. On the XM side of the dial, you can tune to Channel 225.
Weather Info: Back in the dome, there won't be any weather factor for this one. If you're traveling to the game, however, be careful. . .looks like it's going to rain this evening, and there will be a chance of snow on Sunday with highs barely reaching the 40 degree mark.
And, if you're still looking for Minnesota Vikings tickets, you can get some by clicking on the link there.
Now, you have all of the information that you need to be able to follow all of the action. And hey, if you're watching the game from home anyway, you can hang out with us in the Game Thread for the best game day experience anywhere!
