Vikings At Seahawks: Final Injury Reports

Brace Hemmelgarn-US PRESSWIRE

With it being Friday, teams across the National Football League have released their final injury reports for this weekend's games, and the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks are no exception. Let's take a look at what's been put out.

Since we start with the visitors when we do these, let's take a look at the injury report for the Minnesota Vikings.

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
John Carlson TE Head Out
Mistral Raymond S Ankle Questionable
Fred Evans DT Knee Probable
Letroy Guion DT Ribs Probable
Percy Harvin WR Hamstring Probable
Erin Henderson LB Elbow Probable
Chris Kluwe P Knee Probable
Adrian Peterson RB Ankle Probable
Christian Ponder QB Knee Probable
Antoine Winfield CB Knee Probable
Tyrone McKenzie LB Non-Injury --

From the sounds of things, the Vikings aren't sure if Sunday will see the return of Mistral Raymond or not. With Harrison Smith and Jamarca Sanford having played pretty well as the starting safety tandem in Raymond's absence, the team might wait until next week against the Detroit Lions to bring him back. Harvin also has a "non-injury related" designation next to his name, as he had a family matter to tend to this week.

Now, on to the Vikings' hosts this weekend, the Seattle Seahawks.

Player Position Injury Sunday Status
Braylon Edwards WR Knee Out
Jason Jones DT Ankle Out
James Carpenter G Illness Questionable
Byron Maxwell CB Hamstring Questionable
Greg Scruggs DE Oblique Questionable
Doug Baldwin WR Ankle Probable
Alan Branch DT Non-Injury Probable
Marshawn Lynch RB Back Probable
John Moffitt G Knee Probable

In a weird little bit of voodoo, there's an injured receiver on the Seahawks' roster, and it's not Sidney Rice. The Seahawks have been having a bit of an issue with wide receivers this week, as Baldwin was limited in practice early this week and the team placed Ben Obomanu on injured reserve as well.

So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. . .this week's injury reports for the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks. Enjoy!
