Your Hate Week College Football Open Thread

Justin K. Aller

We're into the home stretch of the 2012 college football season, and with all sorts of craziness happening last week, this week will have a lot to do with how things look going into bowl season.

In the Big Ten, two teams still have a chance to get themselves bowl eligible in this last week of regular season play. At TCF Bank Stadium, the Minnesota Golden Gophers will host the Michigan State Spartans. A victory for Sparty gets them to the post-season. In West Lafayette, Indiana, the Purdue Boilermakers can get to the post-season if they can defeat the Indiana Hoosiers in the battle for the Old Oaken Bucket. Indiana would love nothing more than to spoil the post-season party for their arch rivals.

The rest of the Big Ten schedule has Illinois Fighting Illini taking on the Northwestern Wildcats, and the Wisconsin Badgers going to Happy Valley to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions. Oh, and some game in Columbus between the 19th-ranked Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes. I've heard that one's a pretty big game.

Looking across the rest of the college football landscape today, here are the big rivalry games for this Saturday and where you can see them.
