Vikings Will Have Wright Stuff Against Detroit

Bob Levey

Hey. . .it was this or New Kids on the Block. Don't try telling me that I made the wrong choice.

Yes, the moment that many Vikings fans have been waiting for will come this Sunday. Rookie Jarius Wright, one of the Vikings' fourth-round selections in the 2012 NFL Draft, will be making his NFL debut this Sunday at home against the Detroit Lions. Vikings' head coach Leslie Frazier has said this will be the case whether fellow receiver Percy Harvin is "up" for this one or not. . .considering that Harvin is listed as doubtful and didn't practice on Friday, I'm not sure if that qualifier was needed.

With the Minnesota Vikings' passing offense currently struggling, and likely being without Harvin on Sunday, the team will have to get a spark from somewhere. Hopefully Wright will provide that spark and show the Vikings that they should have found a way to get him on the field sooner. After all. . .he's with us.
