It's time to take a look at the injury reports for the final game of the 2012 regular season, folks.
As we start with the visiting team when we do these, let's take a look at the final injury report for the Green Bay Packers.
Player | Position | Injury | Sunday Status |
James Starks | RB | Knee | Out |
Charles Woodson | CB | Collarbone | Out |
Davon House | CB | Shoulder/Hip | Doubtful |
Randall Cobb | WR | Knee/Ankle | Questionable |
Tom Crabtree | TE | Hamstring | Probable |
Mason Crosby | K | Illness | Probable |
Evan Dietrich-Smith | C | Knee | Probable |
Alex Green | RB | Concussion | Probable |
Jordy Nelson | WR | Hamstring | Probable |
Jeff Saturday | C | Neck/Shoulder | Probable |
Josh Sitton | G | Concussion | Probable |
C.J. Wilson | DE | Knee | Probable |
Jerel Worthy | DE | Hamstring | Probable |
Cobb had a pretty decent game against the Vikings the last time these two teams met, and his presence as a kick returner as well as a receiver will be a key for Green Bay in this one. Woodson and House being out helps a little bit, as long as the Vikings can continue to play "clean" as they have the past few weeks. In what has to qualify as good news for the Vikings, Mason Crosby's illness will not keep him out of Sunday's contest.
Now, the injury report for your Minnesota Vikings.
Player | Position | Injury | Sunday Status |
Brian Robison | DE | Shoulder | Questionable |
Antoine Winfield | CB | Knee/Hand | Questionable |
Jared Allen | DE | Shoulder/Illness | Probable |
Chris Kluwe | P | Knee | Probable |
Phil Loadholt | OT | Knee | Probable |
Adrian Peterson | RB | Abdomen | Probable |
Marcus Sherels | CB | Quadriceps | Probable |
Marvin Mitchell | LB | Illness | -- |
Robison has been limited in practice all week, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him deactivated or, at the most, in a limited role in this one. Everson Griffen has shown that he's more than able to handle a full game of snaps in Robison's stead, and I would expect him to be the starter on Sunday (Griffen, that is). Winfield's playing. . .that we already know. Mitchell is on the report because his illness kept him from practicing on Friday.
That's what we've got going into the final game of the regular season, folks.
